Playrite Conqueror 40 scores at Staffordshire sports school

Cheslyn Hay Sport & Community High School in Staffordshire has seen the official opening by current England and Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart, of its new purpose- built, floodlit, multi-sport installation.

At the end of 2010, the school decided to update its sports ground to create the new facility and selected Playrite Conqueror 40 for its playing surfaces.

Ideal for both football and hockey, the 3G surface meets FIH and IATS performance standards as well as EN 15330 part 1. It also offers reduced maintenance and increased playing time.

Leading independent synthetic surfacing contractor, Dura-Sport Limited was selected to install the product - a total of 6,000sq m - which was completed to a high standard, despite the challenging weather conditions encountered during December and January.

Tony Porter from Staffordshire County Council said: "Playrite’s Conqueror 40 surface ticked all the right boxes for our project. The surface looks and plays to the standard we were hoping and expected."
